This is a small business run by a very nice couple (Albanian guy and German lady). Everything was perfect, from the reservation (no advance payment needed), the welcome on the house drinks, the rooms very comfortable and clean, the cooking - amazing local dishes, service - sooo kind and prompt. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay there. Thank you so much Hotel Margjeka!

Best Place to Stay in Valbona
Had been led to believe this was a rustic guesthouse - not! While maybe not luxurious it is very nice indeed. Large comfortable en-suite rooms. Beautiful location and superb food. We stayed two nights and had dinner there too. The lamb dish was one of the most delicious things I've tasted... (A speciality of the German lady who runs the hotel). Altogether a great place Stayed July 2016, travelled with friends
